PORTLAND MAX LIGHT RAIL
Green Line

The Green Line is the newest MAX route; it began service in September, 2009.  It travels in downtown along Portland Mall, and then across Steel Bridge.  It leaves the Blue Line beyond Gateway/NE 99th Ave. Transit Center, and proceeds on its own for about six and one-half miles out to Clackamas Town Center.  There are eight stations on this stretch.  This section covers that portion of the route, which is also known as I-205 MAX.

This image shows what was then a just-introduced "Type-4" car from Siemens, a month or so before regular service started for the Green Line.  The train is waiting at the SE Division St. station, second stop out after the split.  This special run was transporting an invited group of guests to observe public art along the way.
