This poster at the SE Powell Blvd. station is busy with
information for both arriving passengers and those readying to board. Having
detailed neighborhood maps is a nice feature of MAX, and is something not uncommon
elsewhere in this modern era of light rail.
The Rail System Map is intensely distorted from true geography -- also something
that is not unusual in many cities. All
four MAX lines appear, as does commuter service operated at peak times only
south from Beaverton, and also the Portland Streetcar. Downtown Portland is expanded to allow for
much greater spacing than elsewhere. |
