When the Green Line rises above ground level, and when
the topography and urban landscape to the east permits, and when the weather and sky
conditions cooperate -- when all this happens, there are some brief and
beautiful views of Mt. Hood, snow-capped year round. Such was the case
this first day of November, during the first autumn of the route's operation.
