The signal inbound from the platform at the last stop,
Clackamas Town Center, displays red for the moment, but will soon change.
The train is aligned on the correct track to return to the north.
Current planning will bring a second line to Clackamas County, and, for the
first time, a second crossing of the Willamette River, much further south
than Steel Bridge. The new route,
tentatively dubbed the Orange Line, will extend the system south from Portland
State University to serve areas east of the river down to Milwaukie. |
