Evening is approaching
in this view in the Dolores Heights section of the city. This
photo is taken
from approximately the same vantage as that for the initial photo in this section,
and it shows the rear of a Boeing-Vertol train as it begins the steep downgrade
to Mission Dolores Park.
These problematic vehicles are gone from regular city service. But
the scene otherwise remains pretty much the same, a fine location for
the transit fan, or otherwise for the lover of urban vistas. |
