Historic Folsom is somewhat removed from the more
densely occupied parts of the Sacramento area, and the city presents
rather a
small-town feel. There is a long stretch of single-track
running between here and the next stop, Glenn.
The terminal area contains two tracks.
During most of the day every other train continues beyond Sunrise to
this terminal. Service ceases along this outer portion in
the very early evening. |
