This train under Market St. is marked for the final stop
on the L-Taraval
line, 46th Ave.-Zoo. Four of the five lines that survived into the subway era
have seen expansion since that time. The route of the L-Taraval from downtown out to
near the Zoo has been changed only
by the coming of the subway.
More contemporary train identification signs mark this destination as "SF
