Almost all the way throughout its downtown running TRAX uses reserved
lanes along city streets. Here a train from Sandy
-- in an earlier era when this was the only line in operation -- turns west
from Main St. to head for the two stops along S. Temple. There
is some prioritization of traffic signals in the heart of the city, but
progress is fairly slow. |
