SACRAMENTO LIGHT RAIL
Junction, from the West

The junction of the Blue and Gold Lines southeast of downtown gladdens the rail fan.  Gold Line trains take to a sweeping overpass across the Union Pacific (former Western Pacific) tracks, and the inbound Blue Line rails.  The Blue Line, to and from Meadowview, branch to and from the right.

This view looks into the glare of a winter morning sun.  No trains are in sight, which perhaps highlights the power and complexity of the infrastructure.
