PORTLAND MAX LIGHT RAIL
Skyscraper View

One of Portland's very few major skyscrapers appears in this view, which was taken along SW 6th Ave. some few blocks north of the heart of downtown.  The US Bancorp Tower is the second tallest building in the city, rising to 536 feet.

The intersection in the foreground is with NW Everett St.  Buildings in the immediate area are low, and vacancy signs are prominent.  The coming of light rail in 2009 may help improve future prospects in this area.
