After Lake Street/Midtown the line descends back
to road level, and parallels the outbound
lanes and sidewalk of Hiawatha Ave.
This view is from along that stretch. Three stations, not closely spaced, lie along this
portion of the route. The approaching northbound train is coming from the
stop at 38th Street.
There are street crossings at strategic distances, and
gates come down long in advance of the light rail's arrival. |
