LOS ANGELES METRO LIGHT RAIL
Del Mar, Sullen Light

The redevelopment around the Del Mar station carries one of its buildings over the tracks and close by the outbound rails.  In this view a train headed for Sierra Madre Villa is entering the station area on a very gray February day.

As it is in Los Angeles northeast from Union Station, there are six stations in Pasadena on the Gold Line.  This is the second one outbound.  The train in this view will soon go below-ground to access the next stop, Memorial Park, and then on to the rest of the route, in the middle of a California freeway.
