LOS ANGELES METRO LIGHT RAIL
Pasadena Station Redone

The Santa Fe Railway, then continued by Amtrak, carried passenger trains to and through Pasadena for well over a century.  Final service ended early in 1994.

The former railroad station has been completely renovated as part of the massive urban redevelopment that has taken place nearby.  The landscaping is beautiful, and the restored building is very handsomely done.  To this observer what is lacking is the "soul" of the old facility.  The  Gold Line's Del Mar Station is adjacent.
