LOS ANGELES METRO LIGHT RAIL
From Oaklawn Bridge

Oaklawn Bridge, on a surface closed to vehicular traffic, is a pleasant place to watch and photograph Gold Line trains below.  Several images later in this section return for views earlier than this 2009 scene, and attest to the fact that the photographer has enjoyed being at this location.

The train below is numbered in the 700 series.  This kind of vehicle is the newest in use on the Metro light rail system, entering service in the late winter of 2008.  The vehicles were manufactured by AnsaldoBreda of Italy, and are designated as the P2550 model.
