The Imperial/Wilmington station is a transfer
point between two of Metro's three light rail routes. The Blue Line runs
at surface level and the Green Line crosses above, running within the median of
Interstate 105. This view was taken over the eastbound freeway
lanes, and shows a Blue Line train below, heading for downtown L.A. A Union Pacific freight
track is adjacent to the right.
Unless one buys a day pass, or has another kind of pass, a
separate fare and proof of payment is required each time the rider
boards a different rail vehicle. |
