LOS ANGELES METRO LIGHT RAIL
Future Junction

The same curve as that shown on the previous page in this series appears here, but from a much different perspective.  An outbound train is crossing westbound Washington Blvd.

At the time of this 2009 scene, work was well underway -- but with much progress yet to be accomplished -- on the Expo Line, which will continue down Flower St. ahead, and then go by the northern edge of the University of Southern California campus on its way to a terminal at Washington/National in Culver City.   The right of way along or near Exposition Blvd. utilizes in large part another former Pacific Electric corridor.

The area just ahead will become the first active junction on the LA Metro light rail network.
