LOS ANGELES METRO LIGHT RAIL
From Downtown

In this view a southbound train is just about to turn from Flower St. onto Washington Blvd.  The vehicles in use on the Blue Line, unlike those on the other two light rail routes, were manufactured by Nippon Sharyo.

L.A.'s complex freeway system is evident in many places on the fringes of downtown.  The very wide and very busy Santa Monica Freeway crosses the Blue Line a block and a half ahead.
