Just a bit further south than the previous image in
this series (one can see in the distance on that page the tower that
shows prominently in this photo), the two lines using the
"L" are about to go their separate ways.
The outer tracks, including the flyover, are for the Orange Line to and from Midway. The inner tracks continue along the much older
structure that takes the Green Line to and from the South Side. |
