The inner portion of the Red Line down the median of Dan Ryan Expy.
generally parallels the much older "L," today's Green Line,
which is a few blocks away.
When
this picture was taken in early 2003 the White Sox baseball stadium, much maligned,
was still called Comiskey Park; it has since been renamed in one of those
corporate-sponsorship deals.
The stop remains as Sox/35th.
The outbound train in this view has
seven more stations to visit before it reaches the 95th/Dan Ryan
terminal. |
