TORONTO LIGHT RAIL
One-Way Direction

From this page on onward, this section is organized generally from east to west.  The photos come from my very limited sampling of the streetcar system, and there are, alas, many gaps in coverage.

This photo is at the Bingham Loop, where two lines terminate.  The car in view here is on the 502 Downtowner line, which goes to McCaul Loop in center city.

The streetcars of Toronto can operate only in one direction, and thus at each end of the line there needs to be a loop, either using city streets, or the tightly turning, wonderfully squealing sort, to reposition the vehicles.
