TACOMA LIGHT RAIL
Union Station and Blue Sky

Union Station in Tacoma dates to 1911, and was once a major terminal on the Northern Pacific system.  It still exists in name, and has been wonderfully restored; but is no longer a transportation facility.

The streetcar in this scene is turning onto a short stretch of  private right of way that will take the line from Pacific Ave. uphill to access Commerce St.  This run has passed through three of its five stops.
