The Blue Line, formerly called the Shrewsbury Branch, comes to a rather abrupt
Missouri ending
at an elevated station the full name of which is Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44.
The design of the structure hints at potential continuation, and that is
indeed envisioned, for some future time.
The branch, opened in 2006, has several elevated
portions and some underground stretches, including one long run with a
subway station. |
