public at the time of this May, 2008 view, with much work remaining. The extreme southern
tip of the large lake is visible in the foreground. The inbound orange car
beyond is readying to turn onto Westlake Ave. N.
Massive redevelopment is changing this view beyond the park dramatically. All the
nearby properties on the other side of Valley St. were fenced off that day, awaiting
the wrecker's work. |
