SEATTLE STREETCAR
Transit Operations

This view, from about the same location in the Westlake Center food court, shows a variety of transit down below.  A streetcar waits at Westlake Hub.  A Sound Transit regional bus is turning onto Westlake Ave.  Metro buses cross and travel  further out on Westlake.

King County Metro has a fleet that includes diesel, hybrid-electric and electric-with-overhead-wires buses; Seattle is one of only a few North American cities to utilize what were once called trackless trolleys.
