SEATTLE STREETCAR
Toward Lake Union

Lake Union is barely visible at the lowest level in this scene.  Seattle's landscape includes numerous hills.  The Wallingford neighborhood rises in the distance on the other side of the lake.

It is shortly after the line's opening.  Balloons adorn the simple shelter at Terry & Thomas Group Health Station.  Many children were able to experience riding a streetcar during the line's initial free period.
