This
scene shows an N-Judah train beginning its street running along
Duboce Ave. The J-Church route curves to the left in front of the camera.
The two farther switch tracks are not used in normal service.
This location never fails to fascinate this transit observer;
several further images taken from this general perspective are much ahead in this
section.
The cars shown here were manufactured by Breda, and represent the
second generation of light rail vehicle built for the Muni
Metro subway routes. The entire subway fleet is currently operated
with these cars. |
