This photo shows the side of an old San Francisco car
heading toward Market St. at the Ferry Terminal station.
When the E-line
becomes the second historic service, it will continue on, traveling beneath the distant Bay Bridge.
Longer-range plans envision that route beyond 4th & King, partway down the T-Third.
In the other direction the old cars may one day ply beyond Fisherman's Wharf, in part
through an old freight tunnel, to the west. |
