Trains leave 12th for this short stretch of
private right of way, located between Q and R Sts., as they snake to the
east and southeast from center city. There is a small yard beyond the normal turn, and two trains not in current service
are visible there.
At least one outbound passenger waits at
the 13th St. station. The sign on the rear of the inbound
train reads "Downtown." Large air-conditioning units
are on top of the cars. Summers in Sacramento are hot. |
