SACRAMENTO LIGHT RAIL
At Historic Folsom

The extension to Historic Folsom added almost seven and one half route miles, and four new stations, when it opened in 2005.

This view is at the terminal.  After a single-track portion, outbound rails resume two tracks just before the final stop.

Carefully quaint blocks mark the small downtown business district a short walk away.  The American River is in the valley beyond the end of the tracks, and Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, not too far away.  The Sierra Foothills, and Gold Country, are off to the east.
