SACRAMENTO LIGHT RAIL
On 12th St.

The series now progresses to several images on the northeast fringes of downtown along what is now the Blue Line out to Watt/I-80.  This image looks south on 12th St., where the tracks turn to and from K St.

12th carries trains for a few blocks in this vicinity.  It also briefly serves as the light rail transit corridor for a block or two southeast of center city.

Outbound there are two stations along 12th.  The first is the prosaically named 12th & I, and the farther-out one carries the much more interesting name of Alkali Flat/La Valentina.
