Three Vintage Trolley photos appear in the sequence
starting here, an
homage of sorts to a service that no longer exists across the Willamette.
As of the summer of 2009 the route for this Sunday
feature shifted away from here, and this sight with passengers
inside a car heading across the bridge and its approaches is no longer obtainable.
This profile of the car was taken from the southern sidewalk leading onto
Steel Bridge. The clock tower of Union Station, more than a century old, appears to the left of
the streetcar. |
