This image was taken from within a block or two of that
shown on the previous page in this segment. The weather is quite
different. Not only is it not raining, but, more than that, sunshine is taking over from the early afternoon autumn clouds.
The photo is again from the inside of a MAX run, this time heading away from
downtown. Steel Bridge is off in the distance, and the spires of the
Oregon Convention Center on the other side of the river poke upward.
The southbound track is to the left, and beyond that, a spur track dead-ends
just ahead, beyond the range of the camera. |
