PORTLAND MAX LIGHT RAIL

All trackwork and the electric infrastructure had been completed by the time of this August, 2009, photo, again taken from the northern walkway along Steel Bridge.  But regular MAX service was still some few weeks away.  A layup track has been made available, seen in the foreground, for future trains not proceeding across Steel Bridge.

The Steel Bridge segment earlier in these pages features some several images focusing on the elevated territory where Portland Mall trains access and leave the bridge.
