All trackwork and the electric infrastructure had been completed by the time of this
August, 2009, photo, again taken from the northern walkway along Steel Bridge.
But regular MAX service was still some few weeks away. A layup track
has been made available, seen in the foreground, for future trains not proceeding across Steel
Bridge.
