This 2007 view shows one of the many signs then posted in center city
informing passersby about major transit changes to come downtown, in
connection with the coming of the Green Line (I-205 MAX) and Portland Mall.

The depiction of the LRV above the map is of a design then not yet in service in Portland.
Manufactured by Siemens, they became the fourth model to enter MAX service
when the units began hauling passengers on the existing routes in August, 2009.
Their size in comparison with the bus is interesting. |
