PORTLAND MAX LIGHT RAIL
The Fountain

There is indeed a fountain by Skidmore Fountain.  The structure goes far back into the city's history and folklore, with its dedication occurring in the late 1880s.  Portland has a long and rich past, as such timelines are measured in the Pacific Northwest.

In this view a Yellow Line train, in its former routing, is preparing for the nearby stop.  It has that station and one further along NW 1st Ave. before it ascends Steel Bridge to cross into Northeast Portland.
