The Portland Mall crosses the original MAX route on two
parallel avenues. It runs generally north-south on streets that were dedicated for many years to bus
transit only. Light rail now goes southbound along SW and NW 5h Ave., and
northbound,
correspondingly, on
6th, to and from Portland State University. In this view a westbound train
stops at the closest station (then future) for trains
crossing to head down to PSU. |
