This final view from east of the Willamette River in the
Free Rail Zone is from an early
morning in August, 2009. A train from the Airport is at Convention Center.
Beyond there the tracks dip further for a while toward the Willamette River.
In the distance part of the distinctive hills that afford Portland so much
parkland and interesting neighborhoods appear. Another day on MAX is
in progress.
The next and final Free Rail Zone segment presents images from the Portland
Mall and its connections, which began providing a second center city route
in 2009. |
