PHILADELPHIA LIGHT RAIL
Girard Streetcar

Route 15, Girard Streetcar was restored to service in 1995 after about a thirteen-year period during which it was one of three "suspended" Philadelphia routes.   It runs a total of 8.2 miles through North Philadelphia and West Philadelphia, mostly along Richmond St. and Girard Ave.

This class of car is called the PCC II, and represents a total rebuilding by Brookville Mine Equipment Corp. of post-World War II vehicles.
