The Girard Streetcar crosses under the
Market-Frankford Subway-Elevated at Frankford. The photographer was
standing under or near that traditional elevated line to take this
picture of an eastbound streetcar. This is the only location
on the continent where a streetcar (or light rail) passes under a
traditional elevated line. |
