Route 15 passes above and perpendicular to the Broad Street subway
line, and the further west goes by Girard College, Philadelphia Zoo
and Fairmount Park -- all potential traffic generators. Its
tracks very briefly join those of Subway-Surface Route 10, and then
it continues west on its own to a loop along three streets, Haverford Ave.,
63rd. St., and back onto Girard Ave.

return eastbound along Girard. The paint scheme is a very
traditional one from the Philadelphia PCC era. |
