PCCs provided all City Subway service
for decades until new equipment arrived in in 2001, and these vehicles were retired. This view is from the early 1980s,
and is at the last stop as it once was, Franklin Ave.
For one such as myself whose childhood,
and earliest memories, include riding this kind of trolley, there is no modern
vehicle that can evoke that same kind of
admiration and immediate affection. |
