Away from the airport loop the AirTrain has four
stations, each lettered. At Station A, Howard Beach, the
system ends near the platforms of the subway system's A train.
This view is from the connecting corridor, and shows a two-car AirTrain

Despite its proximity to the airport this part of Queens has a certain semi-rural -- or at least not
intensely urban -- feel to it. |
