NEW YORK CITY LIGHT RAIL
On the Loop

An "Inner Loop" train is curving around a short single-track stretch in this view. The station ahead for it is Terminals 8/9, and then it will work its way back toward Terminal 1, and completion of another circuit.  There are six stops to serve the nine terminals.

The tracks curving to and from the right beyond the rail car in this photo go to and from the transportation centers at Howard Beach and Jamaica Station.  Only the right-hand one is in regular use, as the normal procedure is for trains on both those lines to circulate counter-clockwise on the outer track.
