The northern
end of the Riverfront route runs by the French Quarter and passes French
Market and Farmers Market. Trains bear the destination sign of
"French Market," but the final stop is actually a fair bit beyond that,
by
Esplanade Ave. This view is between Dumaine St.
and Ursulines St., in the immediate area of the actual market.
This car, in the 2000 series, belongs to the Canal Streetcar line,
which utilizes the Riverfront route between Canal St. and French
Market for its runs to and from City Park. |
