After spanning a busy Interstate south of the Airport
area, the Hiawatha Line is in Bloomington for its final stations.
At the time of this 2005 view, this was the first stop along this
stretch along this stretch, Bloomington Central.
There was much construction going on in the
area then. Parts of two very tall cranes
are visible. A fourth Bloomington station, north of here, is
scheduled to open by the end of 2009. That stop will be American
Boulevard. |
