The speed limit is five miles per hour on the final few
hundred feet of track. Rails negotiate some curves in the Mall of
America parking structure, and switches allow for necessary track
movement. Travel is very slow here. Bus
lines also access this area, allowing for easy transfer between transit
routes.
This concludes the outbound tour of the Hiawatha Line, but the series
itself is not quite done. Rather, it returns downtown for three
final pages. |
