The Franklin Avenue station is located above the
namesake street, the depressed E. Franklin Ave.
The effect is very different from the truly elevated Lake Street/Midtown
station, one further stop outbound.
A light rail vehicle is barely visible in bay S2 of the maintenance
facility beyond the rail line. The day is a somewhat gloomy one, and
is much in contrast
to the appearance of things on the previous page in this series. |
