This view is from just south of Lake Street/Midtown,
and shows the transition between the elevated stretch and street-level
running on the west side of Hiawatha Ave. A southbound train is stopped for
passengers, and a train
for downtown approaches its platform. Hiawatha Ave. also itself takes
to the
air here to bridge E. Lake St. A bit of that
structure is visible to
