The extended Gold Line travels at street level
several blocks alongside Alameda St. A new station serves this corner of center city: Little Tokyo/Arts District. Its
canopies are visible beyond the pedestrian crossing over the tracks.
The tall building in the background is a Veterans Administration
outpatient clinic. There are a number of museums nearby,
including, visible to the left, the Japanese American National
Museum.
Close to the camera the line is bending to turn east, along reserved
lanes on 1st St.
