Yellow bumpers mark the end of the line at
the Atlantic terminal in East Los Angeles. The Metro sign has
been erected, but its information is covered with plastic, and
permissible access to the station is still several months away.
The only park-and-ride lot on the new extension is located near this
stop.
East L.A. is an unincorporated community within Los Angeles County,
with a population of about 125,000. Its residents are
overwhelmingly of Hispanic origin.
